Okay this is just making me made, I have a much larger gears of war forum. It has literaly 5x more activity and on google for gears of war forum mine is below his.

    My site: TheGowForums.com

    Competition: Gearsofwarforum.net

As far as I can figure their domain is better so it seems like I can never out rank them in google......They have like 7,000 more members but maybe 3 of them posts which makes me believe that the members where made via admin cp. I just don't know.

Thegowforums.com (At this very moment) :: Currently Active Users: 39 (16 members and 23 guests)

gearsofwarforum.net (At this very moment) :: Currently Active Users: 18 (0 members and 18 guests)

I really just need to out rank them to help my site be the first to be clicked. My website is build nearly all around word of mouth because my search engine traffic is very low :(.

haha well this tcg xcon... yeah im not into the whole video game sceane anymore but anyways...

They are ranking higher then you because they have the keyword in their domain name. That gives them one up on you. You need to do stubmleupon submissions, link building, link trading, blog posts, and everything else that will help your serps. I would also reccomend moving some of those ads on your homepage down. You cant even see the forums unless yous scroll down. I think if people see the forum topics right when the page loads they will stay longer.

    Hope that helps.

Well it would help but I've already tried all of that :(. As far as the forum topics, that is a paid ad, I used the money for a montag contest. So in return it helped the site and I have to keep it there for like 2 more months.

    Any other help ideas?

READ ON... Im starting an SEO Analysis service and I have picked your SITE as my test site. Why? Because you asked and because I bought some directory subs from somebody that responded to your post. Thats how I found your question.

Anyways, its almost done. Its on my other laptop. I will fire it off to you later.

Let me add, while your competitor has an advantage with the keywords in his domain, you may already know, that does not mean you cant outrank him. But he definitly has other things going for him.
