Please LOCK this forum ( Suggestions )

We need to shut down certain areas of this Forum,

Things are getting way out of control here and it seems no one gives a shit.

Dp's Integrity is being destroyed...

 

I agree things have been a bit crazy lately. What areas would you want closed?

 

I would like to shut down

1) B/S/T
2) Itrader system, ( Just being abused on a daily basis , Most members don't even trust it any more)

3) Suggestions and Feedback ( Why Bother, No one cares , people are whoring out this place, like its ok )


Side note: Things need to change and they need to change fast

Itrader system is being abused, like a dirty whore, There are MULTIPLE threads here about the abuse and Not One response from Shawn.

The freebies are taking over the b/s/t and making it tough for the real offers and non-scammers to conduct business...

Thats just a start, I am sure I am not alone here, I will let other fill up some posts

 

yea i agree with the need for something to be done.
i made a nice post on how to make your ads clear in the in the title for the b/s/t forum and some wise assed mod put it in the "General Marketing" forum.
Marketing is not even in the Business section where the link exchange is

all the tips, requests are ignored, and when 20 threads are started requesting the same thing, what happens? "thread locked, been asked before and rejected"

might have been rejected before, but 20 times? aint it time to reconsider?

i have no problems with hijacking threads in here when they are " red rep why?" or "i got an infraction" they can deal with it, and take the fun others dish out about it.
you cant ban all our fun, or else what? we become boring people.

 

I don't think the itrader system needs to be shut down, I look to it to see what a person has done good/wrong in the past, what his or hers reputation is on here like. It just needs to be controlled more.

When it's a legit buy/sell or trade, that is fine by me!

But this freebie crap.... that is not in the rules! and Itraders should NOT be given for that. Reputation is great for that! it says "thank you".

Freebie section needs it's own sub forum in the BST where itraders are disabled.

Other that that... sundaybrew, I agree with your post.

Nothing is being done here =( and it's hurting DP I think.

Shut the Itrader down, Just Until The freebie thing is fixed,

Because a lot of the new scammers are gaining "fake" trust or high itraders from the freebies.....

 

I won't suggest shutting down iTrader, but I agree that freebies should not be considered for iTrader.

 

Wow there sure are a lot of high rep people here... All leaders of the board..However I do not agree with you ...First off, the iTrader system helps me get an idea of the buyer or seller, not saying it is completely bulletproof, but if someones got 50+ iTrader on there hands and decent reputation, they`ve got to be a somewhat decent buyer or seller..

Second off, I agree with you somewhat on the suggestion & feedback forum is being whored up, but this is completely fixable, all DP has to do is make it so post in this forum don't count towards your overall post count...No way it should be closed down lol, what if someone has a suggestion for the site that will hit the spot..

Closing BST no na`rly, you shouldn't do that because thats how some people make a living, and DP only makes it easier to live..

What if someone has got a 50+ itrader from giving away free stuff they got off of someone else giving away free stuff?

What if you didn't check their reputation to see that... and you ended up getting scammed.... would you still feel the same way you do?

Yes if they were gone then everyone would go to another forum. and i think there is minimal bad stuff happening on this forum compared to the others. im liking DP at the moment.

 

Looks like DP has changed a lot since i got so busy that i could not keep up with all the stuff. Looks like most of the good old members arent really taking interest in DP anymore. I have been absent for couple of months now and i have no idea what happened during that time Guess i will have to read all the old posts Anyway Hello to everyone

Dunno man , i just pm some nice mod if i have some issue , instead of going public in this category. Really ugly and scary it can get, like jaree scared the crap out of me (i am just cleaning it up , really nice work jaree will not forget this).

Why can't he make Just 1 Section (freebie) and then everything will be back to normal
