If your worried about the fee search the online "help center", failing that you could always drop them a message explaining the charge. Goog Luck.

It looks fair. Check out https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside&countries=ROW for the fees.

This is an assumption that you are not from the US and your customer is from another country. The fees schedule would be 3.4% + US$0.30 (Receive Payment) and 2.5% Foreign Exchange fees.

    $3.40 (3.4%) + $0.30 + $2.50 (2.5%) = $6.20 .

Overall, 6.2% is not too bad a fee since I am assuming that if you do not use Paypal to receive money, you may not even get this sale so you be losing out on the $93.80.

Paypal fees will vary depending on a few factors and it is all listed on their site, so you can't say Paypal is cheating you if you get different deductions for the same amount of money received.

If you read the fees, you will understand why it is so. If the person pays from a balance not from the US, they will tag on the 2.5% foreign exchange fees.

Also there is a sliding scale of between 2.4% to 3.4% for fees and the fees you be charged would depend on the volume of sale you have for the prior month. See https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-receiving-fees-outside&countries=ROW

If you do not like what Paypal is doing by offering services at low fees, why don't you find some other solutions which would be better for you.

Yes It's normal the Paypal Fee stracture is:

    Fees for receiving purchase payments

Fees to receive payments for purchases of goods and services vary depending on monthly sales volume.

Purchase payments received (monthly) Fee per transaction
    $0.00 USD - $3,000.00 USD 3.4% + $0.30 USD
    $3,000.01 USD - $10,000.00 USD 2.9% + $0.30 USD
    $10,000.01 USD - $100,000.00 USD 2.7% + $0.30 USD
    > $100,000.00 USD 2.4% + $0.30 USD

But you can avoid these if you said the person those will send you payment if they send you payment to choose "Personal" That case he will charge normal and you will get actual. But hardly other will agree with this option if he/she want to pay you for product/services
