Please is this a hacker?

Please I keep on seeing this strange url in my my logs (latest visitors). Anytime I click on the list of latest visitors, i see this link. my site has nothing to do with drugs and I don't have anything to do with this domain name yet I keep on seeing this strange link in my logs. propecia. anytime I click on this link, it says the url is not found on the server yet I keep seeing this link over and over again.

 

No its a ping and the person has used his domain as the refer - that way you see it and click it!

Its a kinda old and shit way of promoting these days

 

It is called "referrer log spam". It is as Wannabie says. It is not a hack. You have nothing to worry about. You can ban the IP from accessing your site if you wish.

 

as long as you don't link back to them or anything.. you don't have to worry..

No, its fine. It probably a 'referrer url' meaning thats the place/url someone came to your site from.

Just keep your password protected, and change it from time to time, you will be very far away from being hacked.

 

This seems to be more of a spam rather than a hacker.
