In the last year, you've made great headway in improving the sites for sale forum. With a few changes, I think it can be THE location to buy and sell sites on the net. Some suggestions: 1. Require the url of the site for sale in the title 2. Separate new/turnkey and established sites into their own subforums 3. Remove or separate into their own subforum "WTB" threads. I'm a big buyer of websites. However, wading through the vast amount of new/turnkey sites and trying to figure out what a site's url is makes finding those diamonds in the rough here rather difficult. With the above changes, DP would be THE location to buy and sell sites. Heck, you could probably charge for it or require premium membership at that point. Thank you for considering my suggestions. Regards, David
The site URL is always in the top right... (If the user chooses to use the sales data area) Oh, and DP doesn't want to charge for B/S/T access... That's what a WSO is for. The debate has gone on in several threads though, so it's best if we don't start it again here, lol.
Thank you for your response. I can tell from a URL if I am going to be interested in the site or not. Having the url in the title or via a title hover would make perusing the forum infinitely more efficient.
Have you tried the filtering options under http://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/ ? You can already filter on things like if the content is unique, etc.
Go here - http://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/sites.php Fill out your specifications and you will find thread which matches it.
There is a search feature I believe, you could try using that. I know search features on many forums aren't amazing at times, but it's worth giving it a try.
