Hi everyone, I own the website www.jobsfornaija.com . Presently i have between 200 to 300 visitors weekday, i am looking for specific marketing tips to this website. I am aiming for 700 visitors per day. Any suggestions? please kindly look at it and help me out. Thank you.
I would do 2 things -- find some relevant forums to post on (a quick Google search should find some for you) and do some article marketing. The more eyes you can get on your link (either through your signature on a forum, or in a resource box in an article), the better.
As 2CentContent said before, start backlinking and Nicole gave you already the tip to do some article marketing including ads in forum signatures. This can really help you...You could try to use Social Media (Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) to drive traffic on your site. Did you thought about PPC?
Unfortunately I don't know what the advertising platforms look like in local advertising in Nigeria. It is tough to say. However, I think local advertising would do really well with something like this. Newspapers and Magazines perhaps? Look at how Monster.com effectively markets their services. You have a similar market, theirs is just US based. I would imagine similar marketing tactics would work in Nigeria.
Make sure you are optimized for your keywords so you can get the most traffic organically from search engines. This tends to be the "best" traffic in my opinion. The other posters were right on with article marketing, forum marketing, etc. Good luck!
Search engine traffic is the best of course, but all the standard stuff will work - article marketing, posting on forums, etc. I wouldn't go paying for traffic unless it's to an affiliate offer..
thank you all so much. I have started writing a few articles. Tried the keyword thing and i see an increase. yesterday i even had 600 visitors for some new keywords i had never tried using before!
