Hi everyone. while looking through the posts here i saw some good stuff on commission junction and decided to open an account. I run a job Vacancy site and went straight to the employment section. Under the Ads for the employment group, i see some written LEAD and some written SALE. does it mean that for everyone i lead to that site i get 6USD? Or there is a percentage? Also most advertisers decline my applicaiton almost immediately. Why is this? thanks
Well, Lead means you will receive commission for completing a form or something. Sale means you will have money when your visitors complete their orders (Submit Credit Card information... etc). Lots of advertisers in CJ tend to decline new publishers. You have to contact them directly and show your traffic quality. Cheers.
Advertisers want more sales - so the more affiliates they get the better. They also want to avoid any problems or hassle, so normally take a look at your website - if it's a good established site with relevant content and even a small amount of traffic, you should have a good chance of getting approved. If your site is full of auto-content with lots of ads or pop ups - they probably won't be interested. If you improve or clean up your site and maybe drive a little traffic using Adwords, Banners or any other white hat method, then you will have a much better chance of getting accepted. You might also want to check that any backlinks are 'clean' = not coming from porno sites etc.
Hi actually there is some terms and condition to obey,so that your site is being accepted. So search them and follow. Thank you..
yes. you get the lead then you received the $6 and if you requires a sale then a payment has to be made before you get the $6
