Hi guys I just started a blog to teach real estate agents on internet marketing. The blog is still in work in progress and I need input from you guys on how to make it better like grammer quality, engagement, colour and any other thing you will suggest will be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance. My blog is realtorhope.com
Good job on the content. The website needs to look sharper and more professional, it feels raw at the moment but the content looks good. You may want to also get a simple logo designed, and either use a theme or the help of an outsourced coder to make a wordpress theme look as clean as possible. Content will be key for you to continue to attract targeted readers. Try to be consistent with your posting, if you pick 1 post per day, try to never miss a post. With wordpress you can write ahead of time and schedule the post for a future date to give you some lead way. On another note, to help the site generate some traffic and followers, if you are not utilizing social media, I would suggest you start right now with at least a twitter account. Every time you make a post, post a tweet on your twitter account, find an alternate short and catchy title for your article and use bit.ly to shorten the URL, along with the tweet, use # hashtags that are related to your topic, such as #realtor #homeinsurance #realestate ect.. This will attract new visitors and followers with time. Additionally, try to search for agents asking questions on twitter and other social media, and answer the questions and suggesting them to visit your site. This should create a good social side momentum and you can develop a Google+ and Facebook page too.
Thanks very much derek.res, i really really appreciate your input. I have opened a facebook and google+ page already but i am having problems opening a twitter acount. each time i request for twitter to send me email notification to activate my account i end up not receiving any from them and i don't know what else to do. concerning your recommendations i will work on them. thanks once again for your honest inputs.
That is almost certainly an issue on the recipient end. Have you checked your junkmail and added *@twitter.com to your safelist? That should resolve it, if not, try using an alternate address. hope this helps!
Yeah, I would highly recommend checking your spam folder. The blog does look nice, make sure to get a good readership base before hitting them with ads!
I have checked my spam folder but still no mail from twitter. i als tried using different emails and still no emails from them.
It looks ok but the content needs to be proof read for simple grammatical mistakes. The top nav bar with links to about us, contact and seo services all point to missing pages.
Thanks all for helping me solve the twitter problem. I have resolved it. Thanks again o really appreciate your help.
