It is a lot easier to do this now that facebook added timeline. As long as you have a well-written description and a beautiful banner image u'll be fine.

I just created a FB fan page for my kindle book and was wondering if I can add a link to Amazon? Is that allowed?

 

Here's what you need
1. Content
2. Pictures
3. Logos
4. Traffic sources outside of facebook
5. Get likes from Buy and sell section here first so that people will have on their mindset that others are already "liking" your page.

NO Don't put amazon on the first few post of the fanpage. It will be a complete turn off to customers. What you can do is create a good fanpage first that has high volume of likes then you can promote your amazon links while doing a post on the fan page.

You should work more on designing. A lookative welcome page would be nice. Though faacebook dont lan on welcome page now. But it still give some extra exposure.

What I would do is create a landing page and use one of the 12 tabs and named it Explore my Amazon store or Amazon store. If they are interested they will click on it. However, you should concentrate first on your timeline. Use the time line to tell your story about your book, what it is about, why you wrote it, how long it took you. Create some interest and don't forget your keywords.

 

Go on you tube and search that type of video i hope it will help you better.
