i want to know if having a flash introduction on my index.html page affect web browsers from indexing my sites and so on..when users enter mydomain.com i want them to be shown with an short flash intro then click a button which takes them to the homepage of the site..would this affect any of my sites SEO aspects?what is the best way to show the intro to visitors without having loading or SEO problems?

I would not put a flash intro on your index page. You do not want the search engines to be served a flash intro, rather than a html page filled with text. If you want to show a flash file then put a link to it on your homepage. Most people just skip flash intros these days so they usually are more annoying then anything else. Flash intros went out of style at the end of the 90s. Of course some industries lend themselves well to flash on a website, but I would not create a flash intro for your site.
