I am currently moving from a shared host to a vitual private server. I have backed up the databases from my host and uploaded them to my VPS. I have set up my nameservers at my registrar, but I am getting "http 500 internal errors" when I try and load my site. Why? What am I doing wrong. I am pretty much a noobie at most of this server stuff.
Check your server logs in var/logs/apacheVRSfoldernamehere/ it can be allot of things ranging from a bad .htaccess to missing modules to permissions.
