Yes...the that's the easiest way! Here is an interesting article about increasing Alexa rank: http://www.doshdosh.com/20-quick-ways-to-increase-your-alexa-rank/
Your Alexa rank is basically a measurement of your traffic ('popularity'). It takes time to increase your Alexa rank (unless your site goes viral with some super awesome content). And honestly, it's not always the key indicator of your site's value or authority. With Alexa it's basically a traffic race and your competition is every other site on the net. Focus on solid metrics like Page Rank, Page Authority, do some great SEO and provide great content, make sure to get lots of backlinks and your Alexa rank will come along with the rest as you grow. But as I said, Alexa isn't everything and when I'm sizing up a site for link building or watching competitors, the Alexa rank is usually low on my list of tell-tale factors. For one, it's not a comprehensive measurement of a site's value, and for two - Alexa rank can be misleading.
Why on earth would you want to? it's an unreliable guesstimate, of no value in itself that's easily manipulated.
Yeah, the only way to increase your alexa ranking is by increasing the actual traffic your site gets. So that's really up to you making your site all it can be. Setting up a blog on your domain is one of the best ways to build and maintain traffic
I tried that but I did not see any result. It seems to need different IPs or different installation ids. Tons of visits from one and only one IP only do not create any rank
