Please help (wordpress with adsense plug-in)

Hello. I have recently purchased a website running on wordpress with the adsense plug in. I want to use the same ads that were on the site so I just changed the pub id to mine.

How I can track the earnings from my new site in my adsense account.

Do I need to create a custom channel?

Yes you should have a custom channel.

I recommend to use simple adsense plugin (i don't remember the exact name), in which you can control the ads for every post and it has lot options. The advantage is that you can control the entire code from there. Please add the code which corressponds to the channel.

Also make sure the plugin writter share is 0% (default is 5%), so that you will supress his ads.

 

I think is better to insert adsense code directly to site, without any plugin. Anyway, you should create channels in your adsense account. These channels can be easily tracked after creation.
