it's like this: mz webpage is about programming lessons, i have set my ads as you can see. my CTR is about 1%, and i thought i have nicely integrated ads and targeted ones... can some profis give me suggestions in placement desighn and coulour of my ads so i can run tests? thnks... heard some people have 20% and more CTR how is it possible? http://www.visualcmaniac.com/ thnak you very much!
above all its a real pain and displeasure ( to me at least ) to visit or even read a black or dark site/page hence making your site friendly in colors, bright colors or white back ground all over may be the first step to improve your CTR
I always thought that the main reason for CTR is the audience visiting the site. Take members from this forum - everyone automatically looking where the ads are and how they're blended. I guess if there's a site about let's say forks from the 16th century the audience is probably less aware which are ads and which links are part of the site. But what do I know anyway, only my opinion
With Hans...black is terrible for the eyes. Lighten up the site, find a new color that blends well, good on the eyes. Personally, when I click to a site that is done in black, I click out without seeing what the site is about, just as I clicked out of your site without finding what your site is about.
hmm maybe your right...but you left it so soon, that you didnt even notice there is Light version link available! dont mind the colours, i have my readers, im just asking about ad placement and ad colours
That's really polite...but anyway,, link color is too bright. And think about what kind of vistor your 've got. Unique from SE or repeat vistor? BTW i guess your vistors are someone who has more experience with computer, which IMO less likely to click on Ads.
