Please help with my anchor text dilemma

I would like to target three keywords example: "apples, oranges, bananas". I am trying to figure out if this is wise and if it will help me rank well for all 3 terms or will it hurt me with the terms individually? Should i target "apples", "oranges", "bananas" seperately?

    Thanks in advance

I will be creating 3 different pages and targeting the keywords seperately but I am referring to the main page: index.html. Since most directories only allow your main page, i'm wondering what anchor text to use.

    Any suggestions?

In addition to the above include all three on home page and then direct to individual pages.Get back links with different anchor text , example:
    Apples,
    Oranges,
    Bannana,
    apples bannanas,
    apples oranges,
    apples oranges and bannanas...

However targetting one would be easier and easier to rank for.
    All your links would say:
    good apples,
    sweet apples,
    Apples from ...

If all three are very closely related like insurance , car insurance, accidental insurance then targetting becomes easier.

As they are not on topic with eachother it would be better to say, rotate your link building for each subject as mentioned above.

If you are looking for directory type anchor texts then you could use something like.

The Best Apples Bannanas and Oranges around.

etc etc You get the idea.

But if you want to rank particularily well in all. Then treat them individually and SEO for them that way.
