I started changing a mybb forum over to a joomla site yesterday. I'm using 301 redirects in .htaccess, but all I get is joomla's 404 error page. Here's what's in my .htaccess Redirect 301 /showthread.php?tid=144 http://projectwm.com/email/44-email-marketing-tips Redirect 301 /showthread.php?tid=208 http://projectwm.com/work-at-home/45-paidsurveys-review Redirect 301 /showthread.php?tid=205 http://projectwm.com/work-at-home/46-legit-online-jobs I even put them at the top, but still no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'd really appreciate some help with this. It's apparent that Joomla's error handling is overriding my redirects. Is there a way to turn off Joomla's error handling (page not found). If nothing else, let me know how much it would cost to get one of you guys to fix it please. Thanks.
