    Hi,
    I converted Kunena forum to phpbb3, but I've got one problem. I want my old (kunena) link to work with phpbb3, but i need to replace some characters from urls to do it.

    Is it possible to replace some characters with htaccess on the fly?

    ą => a
    ć => c
    ź => z
    ń => n
    etc...

    for example -
    this
    -http://www.something.com/forum/12-subforum-name/łóżko-t112.html - this is sample of url from old forum

    rewrite to:
    -http://www.something.com/forum/12-subforum-name/lozko-t112.html - this is sample of url, that works with new forum

    could someone help me with that? I searched for solution, but i couldn't find anything.

    p.s. sorry for my bad English ;)

    This page has a solution for something very similar to yours -- http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11798734/using-htaccess-to-rewrite-special-characters-for-wordpress-url-aliases

    Try adding like below :
    RewriteRule ^(.*)ą(.*)$ /$1a$2 [L,R=301]
