I have a new site i would like to promote. I have never tried internet marketing before and am a little worried about how quickly money can go to waste when i know people run scams/scripts to make clicks. I would like to test the waters with $100- and see what that does for me, if its $100 out the window than fair enough at least i can say i tried & learned my lesson, But i hear a lot about success coming from this method so please help me out here as i do not have time to do too much research into this. ok $100- where would you put it ? all into one campaign ... into several .. banners, text ?? please help me i am lost. With that in mind just answer this if you can, you have a $100 for advertising where and how would you use it to benefit your website. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply.
$100 isn't much. If you have a niche that would allow you to buy cheap keywords you might try out an adwords campaign. But those can get expensive quickly depending on your niche. You can buy footer links if there are good active forums in your niche - and don't forget to post a link in your DP footer. It may pay to buy a couple website reviews from some solid blogs...but again, it depends on your niche. Without knowing what your site is about it's hard to give you real suggestions. You can do free banner exchanges and project wonderful for free if you want to get your site seen, but don't expect a TON of visitors from either. I tried out a banner exchange program once and got a single click. Totally not worth giving up an advertising spot for. I had better luck with Project Wonderful as i was able to post my ad for free on dozens of websites. But still the traffic wasn't great and mostly bounced. Get creative. Good luck. With more specific info about your site you might get better recommendations.
