Hi, I have a site that has been around since 1997. Its a PR4 with about 1500 visitors per day. I have been approached by a site in my niche that is a PR 6 and they are offering my site-wide links for only $50 per month. The site has over 300,000 pages. This means over 300,000 backlinks for me! It seems like a deal to me. My site's revenue is 100% from Adsence. What would happen to my PR and/or would I get banned from Google or Adsence if I go with this site-wide link? Please let me know your thoughts...if the site is in my niche, what is the problem? Thanks!
there is lots of talks in this forum about, site-wide links, PR 6 links with same niche is good for get in top of Search engine. You never get banned for site-wide links.
Another school of thought also says that a sudden increase in no. of BL, might make Google go suspicious about the link itself.
Read this before you decide to go for it. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/how-to-report-paid-links/ Paid-for sitewide links are exactly the sort of thing google wants to crack down on. It could do more harm than good.
