Please help us our DP Users!!! Is there any Indian Users waitng for Paypal Chq. Issued in Feb Specially. I hv requested the chq on 21st feb and still waiting.. also is there any user who has cancelled the chq and got the refund ??? Thanks Dave
wait for a few more days, and then ask paypal to refund. there will be a $15 charge for the refund and the money will be disposited back in your paypal account. though it won't be that easy! this is the reason why i prefer money bookers over paypal, at money bookers you can get verified without the credit card, and get money at your bank account easily! but then indians still go for paypal, as there first choise!! am waiting for a check, it is 15-20 days, but then paypal checks takes time, so i will be waiting for another month before thinking further
Hello Sir, I have requested a check on 8th of feb and got it in my hands on 23rd of feb then I have requested one more check on 22nd of march but that one I didn't got yet. I am also in search of a good alternate of paypal. I know my swift code for wire transfers. Can anyone help me? And please also tell me the maximum amount of money that I can withdraw from these accounts in a month. Thank You
Indian users should use Xoom as PayPal's checks to India usually get lost or stolen. Xoom will utilize your PayPal account to send you your money instantly. Xoom: www.xoom.com
Yes Xoom is lot better option for indians.U can get ur paypal money transferred to ur bank account in 3-4 days. Anyway just wait for some more days for ur cheque else u can contact paypal staff itself.
Always use Xoom to transfer your paypal funds to your bank accounts directly. i used xoom 3 times.. i received my payment within 15 hours in my bank account. requesting the cheque for paypal and waiting for long time is really sucks
if you have an unverified account with $100 as sending limit, then forget it! else you can always transfer money from paypal to xoom easily, using xoom!
Red about Xoom and payment options here http://forum.scriptlance.com/archive/index.php/t-705.html http://www.aseemn.org/posts/xoom-–-send-money-to-india/ comments please.
Your assumption that my account is unverified and I have a sending limit of $100 is totally wrong. Now can you tell me how do I go about transferring my money from Paypal to Xoom?
Your question has been fully answered in detail over here. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=242661 As far as charges that Xoom takes, they can be seen here. https://www.xoom.com/fees The coupons have expired I guess but I am working on a system on reducing the fees further. More updates will follow. Al
I will answer it for you bro. It is a well known fact that RBI governs all Public, Co-operative and Private Banks. Also it is known to all that it is mandatory for all banks to furnish details about all accounts, transactions etc that it considers are of concern and danger to the "financial health of the country". (Thus it asks for PAN number and all documents etc when we open a bank account just to satisfy the RBI rules) All withdrawls above 10000 INR in a single day are reported to the RBI. Now coming back to the point. Xoom has been operating in India for the past 4 years now, if something would have been "illegal" or "illegitimate" about them, before I and you could even move, they could have been banned by the RBI and therefore they would not be able to operate in the country. However this is not the case. When we initiate a "bank deposit" then both Xoom and bank authorities come into picture and "mind you", Xoom doesn't deposits "cash" into our accounts, it transfers money into it. So again their is no denying the fact that the bank's approval is needed for such transfers. The point to be noted is that all our major banks have no problem when Xoom "transfers" money to us. So I guess it is very much a legal way to bring funds to our accounts. However the IT-Department needs to dealt on an individual to individual basis regarding payment of taxes etc (Very much an individual's choice I guess in India) The nail in the coffin from my side would be the fact that all "legitimate" money exchangers have to take prior approval from RBI and there is no denying the fact that Xoom has such an approval. Also I have a long list of DP members who have been using Xoom along with me. PM me if you need names of such members. (I don't think it will be appropriate to write their names out here) How fast is Xoom? The first time you initiate a transfer it would take in 5 days max however thereafter for subsequent transfers, it will take in a max of 2-3 days. I would be very glad to answer your further questions in order to welcome you to the Xoom club. Al
