    Hey,

I recently changed hosts for my site and now I cannot see the new one.

The files on the new host are up and I can see the new site through a proxy or my phone, but when I go on it from my home computer I see the old host's files still.

I tried the command prompt flush dns command but that did not fix it, what can I do?

    Thanks

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

It takes almost 72 hours for the DNS to propagate throughout the world. Maybe your home ISP is different from the office ISp, so it'll update when your ISP refreshes the DNS, otherwise try clearing cache from your browser it'l work

I tried clearing cache and cookies but I mean it takes forever and its been happening often lately.

Is it possible to do something to my router or something I can do by contacting my ISP?

    Thanks

I dont think so your ISP will be helpfull in tht matter, it takes its own time to refresh dns's (u can still contact them). If the site is working via proxies, this means tht the dns is set up and working, now you just have to wait untill the isp server on ur end refreshes, if its already 2 days, it shud work by 2moro..
