Please Help - Problem With Hosting Company

Here is the problem

I registered a domain and installed a wordpress blog.

Hosted this blog with company "A", They were also doing development of my another site and seeing that I was being ripped of too much for dev cost I had to switch development company.

Guess what?

My blog is down as they removed the plug.

Question
As I still own domain name and the blog was from Word Press is it possible to get another host and recover all blog entries since I started it 2 years back. There are 200+ postings in the blog.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Do you have a database dump, or a recent backup? Can you access the data now? If you can, then yes.

 

No thats the only problem, I do not have any kind of backup at my end

 

Then you know what you must do. At the very least, get a database dump. Find out what you host wants, even lie and say you want to upgrade or something just to get your data ....

 

Do what it takes to get back your data. Come to an agreement and solve their need to "pull the plug". If they jave done it just because you are not a dev customer anymore, this is bad. You are certain the relation as not gone sour at some point ?

 

If all fails you may be able to recover some of the text based articles from http://waybackmachine.org. But the suggestions above are good
