    PR is 100% determined by incoming links to your site. The only link google shows is one from a PR0 site. Another site might have removed your link or had their sites PR drop. You are going to need a lot more incoming links if you ever want to start ranking for keywords that will bring you traffic.

    Toolbar PR is only updated every 3 months or so (no one but google knows the exact date). If those links were put up after the last update, the toolbar isn't going to show PR until it updates again. Google can also prevent certain sites from passing PR - usually when they think the site is selling links.

    Toolbar PR is always a look at the past. If you gain or lose backlinks, it isn't going to be reflected on the toolbar until it updates again. Google uses internal PR, so when you lose a link, it can almost immediately affect your SERPS - but not your PR.

    The number of outgoing links on the page linking to you also affects the amount of PR it will pass. The more links, the less PR your site will receive. You also want to get links from sites related to yours if you want the links to help your rankings. Buying links from non-related sites may increase your PR, but won't do anything to improve your rankings.

    I noticed on seologs it was showing results only from;

    accounting-on-line.com

    Note that is without the www. Google did something last week about the difference between results with www and NO www.

    They call it "canonicalization"

    Check out Matt Cutts blog entry link below. Thats likely your problem. Make sure Google is reaching the www version of your site.

    Yeah, your www.accounting-on-line.com is redirecting to accounting-on-line.com. Should actually be the reverse, but it is your final choice. If you recently added that redirect you will lose the toolbar PR until the next PR toolbar update or maybe the next one after that if its too late for the next update?? You can also lose the toolbar PR if you accidentally add a noindex-nofollow to your site too and google deindexes and then fix and crawls again. (made that ooops accidentally:() You'll lose the toolbar PR (showing grey) and then it will come back up PR0 until the next update.

    Right. You did a reverse redirect. I redirect mysite.com to www.

    How old is your site? I notice that you have few backlinks. Try to get more quality links.

    my site was pr3, but then after the update it is pr1.
    anyways, don't think too much about it, in the next update it will rise if you get some quality backlinks.

    if you get a pr8 backlink, then your site will be pr5+ after the next update.

    so there is nothing to be sad, another option is just get some easy pr3-4 links, lot's of them and you will see a high pr anytime.:)

    wHat was explained to me was that your pr will temporarily revert back to what it was before the last update. So if your pr was 0 before that is wehat it will show. After the update is completed it should go up. I am in the same situation.

    You must continue building links to bring back the PR you wanted
