Hello fellow DP members, I would like to know where should the noindex meta tag be placed? i.e. is this placement fine: Or should the noindex meta tag be below the title?? a. Does it make a difference if it is above or below the title? b. If you say that it should be below the title, then won't the search engines index the title?? c. Should there be space between NOINDEX and NOFOLLOW [after the comma there's a space]? Thanks in advance...
Anywhere in the head is fine. Same goes for any other META tag. Title should come first, not because of HTML, but because it is easily visible to you when look at the code. With only one page it really does not matter, but if you are dealing with thousands of similar pages, having it at the top is a real time saver.
