I have a question, if you register domains; let’s say 100 domains to build the network of sites, would it be useful to register these domains in the different registrars, at different time so Google wouldn't relate them to each other. Basically I want to make sure Google doesn't know that they are all related. And what do you think of these types of domains plumbersinnewyork.com newyork-plumbers.com newyorkplumbers.com newyorkplumbersinfo.com What do you think of having HIPHENs in domains vs. non hyphen domains? What would you pick out of these 4? Let's say best 2 Thanks
I don't think that it will make any difference if you register the names in different registrars or at different time. There are millions of domains registered at godaddy for example and the links between them are counted from Google. The more important part is how you will spread the links across them so the google spider don't become suspicious. From your list of names I would choose newyork-plumbers.com and newyorkplumbers.com although it doesn't so much matter if you don't use them for direct navigation.
