    Sorry to be the wet blanket here, but why do people feel the need to show pictures of their kids, or enter them in contests? At best, isn't this a just a compensation for the parents' own feelings of inadequacy? At worst, isn't it child exploitation?

    I disagree. I think parents do it because they are proud of their children and want to share their joys as a parent to the world. Plus, it's always nice to win some money.

    And exploiting the poor to take care of you is so much better. Who said that the parents were going to pocket the money anyway? They could use it for their children's education expenses.

    Furthermore, doesn't your eBook exploit those that dislike their jobs? I mean, honestly, what have you learned from you eBook that has helped you? If you truly feel your eBook is a help why not give it away for free instead of charging people for it?
