    How new is this website?

It does take time to get listed.

    Time is on your side.

If it's a new site, probably been sandboxed by the sounds of it. Like many others, you'll have to wait it out.

What you describe is normal. If you can find it with a mydomain.com type search it has at least been visited by the bots.

If you go to MSN and cant find it, they offer a submit button at the bottom of the page.

Then it is just a matter of building the age and quality of the site.

Where are your keywords? Did you put them in the right places?

Well... do you type yourdomain.com or do you type just your domain without the .com?

the best way to see if you are listed is to type
    site:yourdomain.com

It depends on how new your site is. You just can't expect a site to be launched and get listed in g the next moment
Meanwhile I suggest you do some elementary SEO like directory submissions and links, and wait for G to do the rest;)
