    I am trying to display some records from database. But I am getting this error"

    "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

    [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

    /sms/process_login.asp, line 18 "


    I searched the net and did all I could.
    1. Changed permission of internet user
    2. Checked open connections
    3. Chedk user permission for folder etc

    Still this error occurs. Can some one help please?

    You might check the Advanced properties tab in Tools | Options and set the Default Open Mode to Shared instead of Exclusive.
