Hi, I've developed a membership website that offers large size photos of models and Celebrities. I'll bring in visitors but I am worried about sales. Please visit the following link (click on photos on the home page, samples section) and suggest do you see any sales potential? Basically I developed this website based upon my interest and the fact that not everyone is in interested in watching porn all the time. There are also those who are celebrity fans! I later decided to setup a membership system. Now I am unsure about sales! Do you think I should continue? Any thoughts on the membership fee? All suggestions are highly welcome. Do you need advice on knowing the sales potential?...its difficult to give answer without knowing what will be your content offering? In case you need help in bringing traffic to the site, you might think of good SEO techniques and probably create a good amount of social media awareness.
Thanks for reply. Yes, I agree. I can bring enough traffic but I am confused about conversions. I have no clue that will the website visitors join my website or not! I don't want that I bring in loads of traffic and get no sales. The content will be celebrity/model photo close-ups, not normally found everywhere on the internet. I've posted a few photos in the samples section that can be visited and as the visitor clicks on any photo, it gets enlarged. All categories other than the "samples" category don't allow visitors to see close-up photos. As an example, if one visits eroticlux.com/category/erotica-black-white/ and clicks on any thumb, one is asked to login or signup. Signup url takes to the page that accepts payment. Otherwise, if one visits the "samples" category and the visitor clicks on any thumbnail there, he is not asked to make any payment and he can see closeup photos. I've spent good deal of time in developing this website and before I carry out aggressive marketing, I would like to know if anyone out there thinks the website can bring in sales or not!
Wrovan, there's really no way to tell until you try mate. There's a niche for everything, you just have to make sure your targeting the right person for this content, get enough people that are interested in this type of stuff, and sure, you'll make some sales. But if your just getting people in there that wanna see a justin beiber picture, dont count on conversions.
