Hey everyone. I really need help. I need to get a car within like 15-20 days. I'm trying to sell two of my sites: www.wiistop.com www.tnawrestlingblog.com TNAWrestlingblog.com gets between 20 and 40 FREE SEO hits per day. Do you think I could sell it for $250? All content is unique. WiiStop is a beautiful domain name for a Wii site, and its got a ton of backlinks to it (Check yahoo!). Do you think I could get $250 for this too? I also have a FlickScript license worth $197. Would someone want to buy that for $157? I also have some money coming from commission junction. If I could sell the two sites for a combined $500, and the FS license for $157, I could probably have enough money.
Post your question in the Domain forum...or auction it at www.sedo.co.uk They also appraise domains and websites but I've heard they generally apparise a little too high. Good luck. What car are you buying?
Nope. Unfortunately it is not. I thought the domain would be worth something though, and I wrote a decent amount of unique content for it. I found a nice Wii-type Wordpress theme, and thought maybe I could get $200 for it.
Are you at least getting any traffic? Also for the Wordpress theme don't you need to leave a link to the creator of the theme?
Nah, there was no link in the WP theme to leave. I used to get traffic when I updated the site frequently. Not so much anymore. It's an older domain, and I have 700 links to the site in Yahoo! I think. I missed the last PR update, but next one I'm anticipating a PR4. $175 is the lowest I could go. I'd like to sell all 3 of my things (TNAWrestlingBlog.com, WiiStop.com, FlickScript License) for $520. Considering the license is worth $197 (and they just switched encoders on their servers, so things encode much faster and overall better), that is putting the sites at about $160/each. Since I need the cash immediately and Paypal has a $500 withdraw limit, I figure if I can sell the three for $520 I can take out $500 for my car.
