Commissions? Have you tried affiliate programs? Or even selling links on adbrite? You can monetize your site that way... If you want someone to fund your project.. that is tougher to do.
You could post offers in forums that your selling advertisement space's in your website, though you would pretty much need good traffic coming into your site daily to get someone to buy your advertisement space.
