i want to transfer my site from shared hosting to VPS i have purchase a VPS but not know how to transfer my wordpress please help me. thanks in advance.
Go to phpmyadmin and export teh database. ftp to your domain, download public_html. Point nameservers for your domain to your new VPS. Create account for the domain. upload all the files in public_html to your new account. create user for mysql. alter the wp-config.php file with the new details. upload the database using phpmyadmin.
