if i was you, i would leave the free hosting websites alone. for myself i use hostgator which is very good. there not free but there not expensive either.
The best free hosting I know are www.byethost.com and http://www.freehostia.com/ These is no ads on your page, and there is a function to install Wordpress automatically like Fantastico in Hostgator, Bluehost... Haven't found any better free hosting than this.
do you have a site already and want just free hosting? or do you actually want to create a site for free including hosting?
I thought this was a matter of life of death Just a piece of advice, why don't you invest in paid host because you will never know how long this free web hosting sites would be in business.
