I have completely redesigned my site, most friends here seem to like the new design but, I'm stuck with the main menu, I don't think its color perfectly match the site them. Any ideas of colors and look would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping me. here is the site: http://www.tutorialsroom.com/
I do not think this would be enough, I think I need some warmth, do you think that warm colors on the top menu will match my color scheme? Take a look at the attachment.
Lot of blank "web real estate" in the header (maybe you could re-arrange the logo?). Too "cold" colors. Proportions are kind of messy (you should think well the layout first, use grids!).
I like the idea, it looks a little bloggy(looks like one post after another) to me though (and there are so many blog sites). Why not put featured Tutorals in, maybe on the right hand side (since this is blank). And Maybe center the page to make sure it looks similar on different resolutions
Try a nice black gloss navigation. Or a white gloss (not sure how you would make white gloss though). It should really pop in the layout but still conform with the rest of your colour scheme which is currently green, blue, white and black/grays. You dont already like the blue, I think green would not look good, so you are left with either black/gray or white, either of which would look nice.
I've removed the lines around tutorials so I think they don't look like blocks anymore, still working on color scheme though. For the top menu, black gloss looked nice mixed with light gray, I just don't know if colors would look to "natural" then, still trying to spice things a little.
