Hello People... I've applied for admission in a Top B-School in my city, by clearing an aptitude test... There are a few questions that I need to answer in writing, before going to the college campus for my selection process (Aptitude Test[again], Presentation and Personal Interview)... Although I am in a position to answer the questions, I think I need to make it all impressive... So, I'm here asking for your help... The questions are: 1. Why do I wish to pursue my management education? (Not exceeding 40 words): 2. My three Strengths: 3. My three Weaknesses: 4. How will I contribute to my class effectively? (Not exceeding 40 words): 5. Why should I be offered admission at {Institute Name}? (Not exceeding 20 words): Here are my answers... Please help me improve on them... 1. I wish to pursue my management education in order to learn and improve on the skills I've only heard of, so far. I believe that an advanced MBA degree, combined with my 38 + months of actual full-time experience, can help me understand, analyse and speculate the future trends in a rational manner in such a way that I can become and create success in whatever I do. 2. 3 Strengths - Quest for Knowledge, Multi-tasking Abilities, and Acumen for Business 3. 3 Weaknesses - Procrastination (slowly but steadily dying away), Aggression (but I guess that's something my age is to be blamed for and not me) and {yet to think - You can help me} 4. I am a person of go-getter attitude, along with being a people person. I believe this combination of two very important traits will help me influence people in a positive manner. Along with building good rapport with people, I will be able to learn a lot from them as well, as I happen to observe people. 5. Being a virgo and truly sticking to it, anything I do is given a lot of committment, and I do things with attention to detail, and passionately so. {I guess that was bad - Please help me here} Please help me with this one as soon as possible... I suggest you this: 2. Add "Innovative". 3. Looks fine. 5. Why do you want to speak about your zodiac here? Better remove your sign and add the term "right from the birth" All the above are just suggestions. Take them on a lighter vein and use any of them if sounds good... My Best Wishes
Alright... I'm done filling my application... Thanks to all who read, and to naryananblaze, junoon and gsv13 (in random order) for your support and replies... The following are the things I actually filled... 1. An MBA degree will help me learn little known but powerful concepts. Combined with my 38+ months of work-experience, it will help me learn and do things in a manner that will enable me to create success in whatever I do. 2. Quest for Knowledge, Multi-tasking Abilities, and Business Acumen 3. Procrastination (slowly but steadily dying away), Aggression (but I guess that's something my age is to be blamed for and not me) and I don't give a lot of importance to my health (but isn't this the age to do all you want?) 4. I am a go-getter and a people person. This combination will influence people positively. By building good rapport with people, I will learn a lot from them as well, as I am observant. 5. Excellence is rarely found, and even rarely valued. I believe I have the excellence that only an institute like yours can value. What do you guys think? Does that make an impact?
