Hey guys, I have bought the domain www.wiredawake.com (kinda went the other way, bought the domain and need a descent idea) Please help me with possible themes and ideas for a website for www.wiredawake.com. I was thinking something tech related but what aspects of tech is what I am thinking. I know it is a different request but I thought if the domain name and bought it out of impulse. I think I gave the wrong impression with the title of my post, I have bought the domain and was just wondering which is the best route to take with it.
Yeah, I was thinking about creating the "ultimate" environment for most tech situations. eg. Have a scenario for the ultimate Windows media center environment, you could layout plans and specs etc.
To be honest, I'd look for a way to pursue the caffeine idea instead of the tech idea, you'll have far more ad click revenue
Yeah caffeine sounds good.. It is a much narrower niche than "technology" and has less competition. Also, I have seen a lot of new caffeine products coming out lately (from gums to bandaids, it's insane) so I'd suggest finding a couple of affiliate programs for those and go with them. You could make it a forum for caffeine-addicted programmers with a specific section to post their record caffeine-fueled waking time in front of the screen. This makes for a fun idea and would yield a good CTR with those affiliate programs mentioned above. I am just brainstorming.. But, who knows?
Just think of something you enjoy or hate about caffeine, and design your site around it. If you actually care about the subject, you're more likely to keep up with maintaining the site
Caffeine and other legal stimulants. Comparisons, reviews and for people who can't sleep, legal/herbal sedatives and where to buy them.
