Hard to explain, but I want a open source, or any half or unfinished whatever.. Script that gets specific information from "Site2" when entered an account and password on "Site1", "Site1" 'logs in to Site2 then get information, and show it to "Site1" again as an output. I wanted to do things like, you have an account on this forum, and if you put the account information for "A game site", it pulls up data, and shows the level / rank of the user to the people browsing 'the person's profile'. Also it will constantly update in [integer] duration of time, and the data will be stored in MYSQL etc. so the user does not have to input their account information constantly. (It is just like Twitter, when you sign up, and put your e-mail information, it pulls up all the e-mails); //But only pulling out SPECIFIC information that I SPECIFIED. AKA ranks and levels etc.
To do the website authentication / retrieval, I'd recommend a cURL instance. Then you would parse through the website data into a SQL database. A PHP application would retrieve the needed info out of the database, and you would be set. Put the login credentials into the database, then run a cron job every so often, and away you go!
