Please help me to promote a contest from my blog

    Hi,

    I decided to organise a contest for the first time but i don't know how to promote contests.

    I found many sites to submit the contest but i think i won't help

    Anybody experienced about promoting contests?

    You can ask someone to tweet about your contest.

    Join forums that is related to your contest and promote there.

    Go to blog directories and comment on blogs that might be interested to join your contest.

    Well, I can just think of this 3 points for now.

    Join Social Networking Sites such as facebook, myspace, twitter.. you can drive traffic from there..

    Buying advertisements on high traffic sites or forum is also a good option. If you buy banners on relevant sites and forums, then you'll get good traffic quickly.
