Please help me test HD video playback

Hi. I'm on shared hosting still, but want to try HD video hosting there anyway..

    The url is http://mediabeez.veerman.ws/album/upload__20081220-0223
Click on the video thumbnail, wait, click on play button.

As this is beta software, it needs to be viewed in FireFox, and might (<3% chance) freeze your browser.

What i'd like to know is how this displays (if the download speed exceeds the playback speeds, jitters/freezes/stalls, etc), and which city & country you're viewing it from..

I'm experiencing a bug between the Flash Videoplayer engine and the hoster, which causes the download of the video to abort and the progressbar to jump to 100%, invalidating playback beyond the jump point.

Needless to say these are crippling bugs and i may have to move to dedicated hosting. But still, i'd like to try on shared hosting as that's so much cheaper.

Looking forward to read your (short or long) review!

It works fine on FF3. High quality, no lag or stalls.

    Thanks for your reply, mjewel.

Other people, please take the time to write back.. You can also drop me a short email (address in signature) if you dont have an account on this forum. I really need to know how this displays, and can't use proxies to test this.

Didnt work that well for me (4Mbit connection).

    For this video

    B+ for video quality
    D- for performance

Buffering made it unwatchable, however where is your hosting, since I imagine its coming transatlantic (I'm in the UK), that's never good for smooth transfer.

What bitrate was it encoded at?

    Loved the design though.

I would recommend you switch to http://cirtex.com. They allow video sharing even on their shared hosting. Support is great. I'm trying to work with one of their support guys for adding my media script to their auto installer.
