Please help me, someone copied my site template

    Hey, take a look at this site http://www.bigchitwan.com/

    This website is using MY design of www.smsbucket.com

    He changed the logo, the logo on footer, removed some links from the footer....

    I don't know what to do now? :(

    I don't know how did he get my template? How could I keep my template's file secure from being stolen like this? is there any way?

    Please help me.

    Looks like a straight html rip. Anyone can rip a site. There are programs that copy everything (all images, html files, etc) and save them to your computer for editing or whatever. This is probably what happened. I don't think you got hacked.

    Send this fella an e-mail requesting immidiate takedown of the template. If nothing happens then talk to his host.

    One of my best friend has sent a DMCA Letter (Digital Millenium Copyright Act Letter) on my behalf to the host to take down the site. Let see what happens.

    I can still view their site, keep us posted with what happens.

    It'll help webmasters in the future, to prevent or even tackle such issues. It happens all the time, I hate those "full-site" rip softwares.

    It's happened to me twice too, but two firmly written emails had them shutdown :)

    I just received a reply from their host, they said they have checked the website and they are going to shut it down :)

    Yippieeeeeeee, I won :)

    The site is no more online :)
