I can't seem to figure it out.

I have two domains, and I use Windows 2003 server.

One of the two domains won't be used, and the other one is the actual site.

Can I use the unused domain name as a nameserver for the other one?

How? Can you PM me your messenger please? I'll love you!!!

You can even use your main domain as the nameserver you just have to go to the domain registrar and register the nameservers

    Yes..it's possible.

For example, you wish to create nameservers for domain yourdomain.com.

    1. host yourdomain.com
    2. create ns1 and ns2 A records for yourdomain.com. ns1 and ns2 should point to two separate dedicated IP addresses.
    3. Go to registrar end and set up child nameservers for this domain.
    4. Test nameservers via one of the DNS tool like DNSstuff.com.
    5. If you find everything ok then specify the same nameservers in your other domain.
