    Hello I wanna buy a laptop and i am confused in this brand which one to buy

    Lenovo , dell , hp or alienware.

    I have heard sony has poor speaker quality...i dont know exactly

    Can you people tell me which one you are using ? and what problem you are having in it and if no problem wat you like abt it ?

    I am using Compaq Presario v3000 series laptop and everything works fine till 1 and half years but now i am having problem of display since last 3-4 months :(

    I strongly suggest you to go with dell laptop as i heard that is best now a days. BTW i am also thinking to buy one for me.

    I will never buy a Compaq/HP again. I've had a couple of Presarios, they've got beautiful screens, but the rest of them are crap. I've had 2 Toshibas (a Portege and a Satellite) and they were both really good - the Satellite was treated like crap, and is still going strong (it's over 10 years old).

    Out of the four that you've posted, I'd go with the Lenovo.

    I'm typing this on an EeePC 901, which is a great little computer - but it's way too small to do any real work on.

    Dell and lenovo is good.. Lenovo is cost effective. But always have an eye on toshiba :)
