    When I clicked, the first link showed google ads and the second displayed the hurricane relief ad.

    your site shown google ads each time im refresh the site. The site for me look to crowded and i hope you can create a good header for this site. Please do some good combination of color. I love blue but not when it combined with plain color. i hope this can help you :)

    all i can see are the hurricane relief ads also.
    once you get some good content you should get better ads? or you can turn off the public service ads and jus put a blank space or ads from another url in the control panel.

    the fact that you have the make donations banner, proofs that the banner is not at the right place , maybe consider a skycraper banner

    Why don't you add a menus on the right, too? It would give the sense of symmetry.
