Please help me research internet UK search statistics

    I've been looking online for UK internet search statistics but I can only find US data or very vague UK data.

    Can anyone help me learn or point me to other websites about how to perform this kind of research. As time goes on I would like to be able to take my research techniques deeper and start comparing a single website report against UK reports; so hopefully one day I can start creating some very technical internet research reports.

    Some of my basic research questions - "walk before I run hey?"
    1. What percentage of the UK population used the internet in 2015/6?
    2. What percentage of the UK population searched on mobile or desktop during 2015/6?
    3. How many of these searches were performed by gender, age, location, etc?
    I'm brand new to this kind of thing so I do apologise if the above questions make you LOL!
