The second one if it's going to be used for wordpres definitely.. As for value, I'm not sure, but not loads.
The first one looks too much like the template on wiiblog.net so I personally wouldn't pick that one, but they all look so similar anyhow that not any of them really float my boat. The top header is what is not appealing to me but if I had to choose, I'd choose the second and wouldn't pay more than $35 for the coded WP version.
The text in #1 and #2 is hard to read. If I had to choose from those with no changes, I'd say #3, although without font anti-aliasing it looks ugly.

I'm still unsure the font type and color and size I should put under the Content Area though. Since I have navigation at the top, I was thinking of putting maybe 3 images in Navigation for certain pages with links to my latest content, and then on pages like Game Reviews, maybe putting game information in the sidebar. This is gonna be all created from basic PHP includes of header, sidebar, and footer with content in the middle. Should be interesting!
I like the layout of the 2nd one the best but I don't like the white text on the blue background. If you could change that I would go for that one.
On the one you selected, maybe you can add another box just above the main content area for organized subcategories that visitors might be interested in, with short descriptions and header info, it might be good for SEO too...

I like the second layout, especially if it will be an all in-clusive site like cheats and game advice and info like you mentioned. I like the idea of new and great game pics as a banner header, thats a good idea! All of the layouts had a good appeal to them, the one that I liked best though was the second! Good luck!
