Hi guys, I am confused about what is allowed and what is not when it comes to the bio box on ezinearticles.com. Their guideline says: EzineArticles.com Editorial Guidelines: (AFFILIATE PROGRAMS): Affiliate links will be allowed if the link is a domain name you own which forward/redirects to the affiliate link from the top-level of the domain name. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from: http://your-company-name.com/ ...but it would not be permissible to forward to an affiliate link from: http://your-company-name.com/page.html OK, let me see if I understand this: I can buy a domain name www.somethingsomething.com, have it redirect to the affiliate sales page, and post it as a link in my bio box within my article. Is that correct? If this is allowed, why do people bother to create their own landing page? I see tons of affiliate links on ezinearticles.com yet, somehow, they are not allowed. Thanks in advance
If you buy a domain and then forward it to your aff. link and then use it in the bio box, you won't have any trouble with EA. But they won't allow you to have a domain like that one in the bio box . www.yourdomain.com/makemoney
Sometimes even when you have top level domain in your resource box, such as www.example.com, they might disapprove your article. But don't worry. Just resubmit it, because Ezine has many "smart" article reviewers.
