    Hello everyone,

This is seriously affecting me work.
Whenever I submit a website to some directories or most of the directories, I get this error

    Unauthorized

Sorry, your are not allowed to access this page.

    Reason

Invalid or expired submit session! Please reload submit page and try again.

I am not using any software, I am doing it all manually.

I changed the browser but still same error.

Is it my Computer problem? my ISP problem?, Directory problem or my problem?

Please, help me out guys, this is really seriously affecting my work. I don't know how to solve it.

    Kindly advise soon, Please!

    Faithfully

it is due do ...following reason

when ever if u opens a particular site there is a session for that submission ...if u crossed tht particular period
u will get that error ...

Better use form filler which helps to reduce the time in filling of forms .

    Regards
    sri

Form filler is what I used. I submit the page in splash of few seconds but still same errors.
I submit the page, type the captcha and when entered same problem.

Then I refresh the page and goes to submission page with all details filled in BUT it says captca error. Then again I typed the captcha and again same error shows up.

Is there any who are kind enough to make a good suggestion. I would really really appreciate that.

    Thanks again

Can you give an example of a site where you faced this problem ... Maybe I or someone else can replicate the issue and post a solution ..

May well be an issue with only a couple of directories that you've tried out - can you let us know which directories are giving these errors?

    Thanks

    Hi digitalduke
Well at least you are not alone with this problem it affects about 30% of my submissions, I believe if you don’t get the captcha first time, refresh the page and start again otherwise as with many sites you will get the unauthorized page after you resubmit, I realize that the captchas are needed but well to be honest I struggle to get them correct I guess only about 70% I get them correct, uppercase lowercase its hard to tell.
    Take Care

I met this problem before, but just for few directories. Problem maybe the route from your ISP and the directory server. Most apache servers have a timeout setting of 60 seconds, and if a submission process can't finish in 60 seconds, it will be killed by the server.

Just change to a fast internet connection and then try.

This is happening bcoz of timeout period. Try filling out all fields in time and submit asap :).

@digitalduke: I have seen such errors on following cases.

    1. When directories have a mod that doesn't allow accessing the submit page directory from an external referrer. http://www.prolinkdirectory.com/submit.php is one such example. You should refresh the page or go to home page and then click on submit button.

    2. When directories block certain IP ranges / referrer. There are some .ca directories.

    3. When you take a lot of time in submitting to a particular directory and the directory's session expires. You can't help this one. I have seen this problem occurring in deep link directories more often because it takes time in submitting deep links :)

Just to clarify. Only the third case is applicable to OP. The other two are not related to his problem but they are often seen so I mentioned those in my post.

@Adduu is saying true. I am doing directories submission work with more than 5000+ active directory and facing 5%-10% this kind of directory. This is only happening for session id and its time. Some directories have own session time and if you cross it's, you're submission may not accept. And session id is also one reason of it. I've found some directories are giving session id to client (you) only if you submit your site with browsing the categories from directory homepage. If you follow the path directly to submit page like http://directorysubfree.com/submit.php then you'll not get any session id for it and your submission will not valid without a session id.

So, browse categories from homepage and try to post your submission within the session time.

Actually I use direct link while doing submissions.

I am freaking out here. As I tried with 2 computers with one directory.
I waited same amount of time. When I click Submit in both, one was successful and other one always shows unauthorized.

The main thing I notice was, In one computer, no matter how much I waited, the submission was successful and other one was always invalid session no matter how fast I did. So that 60 seconds timeout setting don't go around.

Can a slower computer do that? It is just ruining my work now. I thought 2 computer would do great in my work but turned out a failure.

I am still trying to find the cause here.

Can you check if you are accepting cookies? I can't think of any other reason why you are getting this error.
