Please help me on detail

I am using blogspot blog. My blog has been running since last one year. I have gain PR3 on my blog and my blog also top ten for different keyword on google. My friends are saying me to change my blog to custom domain name so that my blog look professional. I also want to change my blog to custom domain, but if I change what will be my blog PR, google SERP etc.

Well its not so problem arise for changing my blog to custom domain, then what I have to do? please inform me in detail.I will wait for your good advice. Thank you.

 

You have to start from fresh, as I think you cannot put 301 redirection on your blog.

 

But google is planning to make cannonical links work over different domains. If that is implemented you are set for sucess

 

yea... your old domain will be redirected to your new domain but obviously all your SEO values will be lost. Even i had the same problem, therefore till date i haven't personalized by domain.

 

SO that means I will lost my all SEO work? So what you say it will good or bad to change to custom domain?

 

yes, you will loose your SEO values.... but it would be easy to regain as half of the work is already achieved you just need to edit it.
