Please help me make this site better?

Please can you help me out? I have made a website for someone and would like some pointers how to make it look good.

I have never had any experience with making websites for anyone other than for myself and then that was only to learn basics of html and php etc.

I understand the site looks pants and I would appreciate all comments. good and bad.

I would look at sites that get your attention. Many sites are adding Web 2.0 effects. Example: you could eliminate the marquee and have it slide in smoothly instead of the jerking motion. You could use fancy navigation tabs and eliminate page reloads with ajax.

Hi, I have checked your website and find some issue, Please have a note following issues:
1. First decide your website theme, you would like to earn some money with your website or just for charity.
2. your website should have clear theme and content information.
3. If your theme is related to affiliate or want to sell some thing then you should analyze some competitors websites.

i saw your site its good and you have to develop more in tat, also place flash headers in your site sotat it will be more professional, and your navogations should be more efficient..............i can improve your site if u wish PM me

pause java script on mouse over , and if you can use the some light color rather then dark one. ok

 

Use bigger fonts for the navigation links... get rid of the marquee effects....

use CSS effects for your page layout and navigation.

 

Not too bad for starting out. You need some more color variation other than just black backgrounds and red and white text. I would try to go for a very dark gray (just lighter than black) instead of straight black and maybe some more images and background colors (especially with the menu) to make thing stand out.
