    Sir I have some things in my mind that I need to know, please do a favor and kindly give me answer to my questions.

    I have a website of articles, all kinds of articles are there like business/finance, health and pets etc

    In Which category I need to submit my site in DMOZ ?
    What kind of improvements I need to make in my site to be listed in DMOZ ?

    my site is : myarticlesworld.com

    it is joomla site.

    Forget about a DMOZ listing. Its not going to get listed. Lack of unique and useful content. Move on.

    Ok Thanks for guidance. What should look this idea according to you. If I remove Joomla and install an article directory script so that peoples can share their articles here. what would be chances of this approach to be listed in DMOZ. ?

    Nope. Have you not noticed how many article directories that DMOZ does not list.... I do not know of a single article directory that is actually useful to the visitor, so why would DMOZ list a single one of them

    Build a site for the visitor, don't build it for a DMOZ listing!

    IMHO, very general article directories are mainly of use to MFA builders :D.
